With everyone practicing social distancing due to the virus, my March workshops have been postponed. I know many of you are still interested in learning embroidery and now more than ever, a mindful craft can be a calming resource in this time of stress and uncertainty.
On Saturday March 28 at 10am PT, I am offering a 2-hour floral embroidery basics online workshop.
In this online class you'll learn how to stitch a floral bouquet using a variety of embroidery stitches. Each attendee will be able to create their own unique floral design.
This workshop includes the option to purchase a class kit (must be purchased by 3/21) or instruction only.
Class kit includes:
- a printed instruction guide
- one 6 inch embroidery hoop
- one 8x8 piece of fabric (colors and patterns vary)
- 6 full skeins of embroidery thread (colors will vary)
- one embroidery needle
- one set of floral Peel Stick and Stitch designs
- felt
- a sawtooth hook
Instruction only includes:
- a downloadable PDF and materials list
Once registered, you will be sent information to attend the workshop. You will need a computer or phone with a camera and to download the ZOOM app to participate in the workshop.
Whether you're an embroidery newbie or a stitching pro, you're sure to learn new stitches, techniques, and tips! If you'd like to join me, register here.
