Crafting in the New Year- How To Get Crafty Every Month

Updated: Oct 11, 2022

If your New Year's resolution is to try something new, make something, or to take classes with other passionate makers, I’ve got you covered! For 2020, I have plenty of ways for you to try your hand at embroidery. (Pun intended!)

Through my monthly embroidery pattern program, you can receive an embroidery pattern in your inbox every month! For only $10 a month, you'll receive a digital embroidery pattern, detailed instructions, helpful tips, and tricks, and a full materials list to create a specially curated pattern. Each month's pattern will be a special surprise! Learn more about my pattern program and sign up to get stitching.

If you’re not into monthly subscriptions and still want to get your stitch on in the comfort of your own home. I offer full embroidery stitch kits, peel stitch and stitch patterns, and downloadable PDF patterns! Who doesn't love a little (or a lot) of guidance to get started on a beautiful embroidery pattern.

And if you’re in the Seattle area, you can also join me for in-person workshops. There are lots of options to choose from!

On January 16 from 6-9pm we'll be adding new life to well loved pieces of clothing in my visible mending workshop at Spacecraft Seattle. Bring a piece of clothing you'd like to mend or add an accent to for this hands-on class.

On January 25 from 11-2pm you can learn embroidery basics in my hands-on florals class at Wyldwood Creative. This class uses my Peel Stick and Stitch Floral patterns that allow each participant to customize their embroidery design. We'll use a variety of different embroidery stitches, thread weights, and techniques to create a gorgeous floral design that will brighten up any space.

On January 26 from 3-5pm, tweens, teens, and adults can join in a Rainbow Embroidery Basics Workshop at Workshop Issaquah. This whimsical class is a fun and easy way to practice embroidery basics. Each participant can choose their favorite colors to craft a charming and happy piece of rainbow decor.

On January 30 from 6-9pm we'll be stitching star signs at Spacecraft Seattle. Stitch your own star sign, a friends, or both in this easy going, hands-on embroidery basics class.

On February 9 from 3-5pm you can embroider your own piece of wearable fiber art in my Desert Landscape Pin Embroidery class at Workshop Issaquah. Wear a little embroidered vacation with you wherever you go! Most participants will finish their pin and be able to wear (or gift it) by the end of the class.

On February 23 from 11-2pm we'll be stitching cactus in my embroidery basics class at Wyldwood Creative. This class uses my Peel Stick and Stitch Cactus patterns that allow each participant to customize their design. We'll also cover 9 different hand embroidery stitches to try a variety of new techniques.

Take some time to learn something new and make something with our hands this year!
