Stitch Along: How to Finish the Back of Your Embroidery

February is National Embroidery Month and to celebrate, I'm hosting a stitch along! Join me in embroidering my Tropical Plants at Night Pattern and follow along to see how to complete each stitch.

In this video, I share how to finish the back of your embroidered hoop. I use the running stitch to gather the fabric in the hoop back and the whip stitch to attach the felt backing. I cover the backs of my designs to protect the stitching and make the piece easier to display. You don't have to do this, however, I like to, because it makes artwork look finished.
