Holiday Sweater Cactus Ornament

Looking to spend time with friends and family this holiday season? Why not stitch a quirky cactus ornament together in a hands-on workshop? Fiber artist Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ will share how to create a cactus wearing a holiday sweater ornaments in this two-hour workshop. No embroidery experience needed. We’ll cover basic hand embroidery stitches like the satin stitch, back stitch, reverse chain stitch, and french knot so you can create your own playful cactus holiday ornament. These ornaments are perfect to hang on your tree or give as unique gifts. Each attendee will receive a workshop kit that includes an embroidery hoop, transfer paper and pen, assorted full skeins of DMC embroidery thread, white fabric, an embroidery needle, felt, twine, and printed instructions.
