April Workshops Go Online

Updated: Oct 19, 2020

With everything that's been going on in the last few weeks, I'm surprised we've made it to April. There's been A LOT of change happening and like many of you, I'm figuring things out as I go. I'm sure all of you are feeling similarly.

Embroidery has helped me find calm in this storm of uncertainty. If you'd like to join me in this calming craft, check out the online workshops I'm hosting later this month. Each class comes with the option to receive a workshop kit, so you'll have all the materials you'll need to get crafty!

Since it looks like we'll be staying indoors and social distancing for a while, I've decided to take us on a tropical crafting trip with an Online Tropical Plants Embroidery Basics Workshop on 4/18. This class is great for stitchers of all levels. Each attendee will have a workshop kit mailed to them. So let's stay in and get crafty together! Register here by 4/9 to ensure your kit is delivered on time.

What was originally an in-person workshop has now gone online. Join me and Monster on April 28th, for a Heart Cactus with Thread Painting and 3D Flowers workshop. In this 2-hour virtual workshop you'll get to create your own ombre heart cactus with a 3-dimensional flower embroidery. We'll cover different embroidery techniques to blend colors and create dimension. This workshop includes a mailed kit with all supplies (minus scissors) for a relaxing evening of crafting fun. Please register here by 4/20 so we can ensure your workshop kit is delivered on time. Whether you're an embroidery newbie or a stitching pro, you're sure to learn new stitches, techniques, and tips!

And later that same week, on April 30th, you can join me and Spacecraft Seattle for Cactus Embroidery Basics! In this 2-hour, online workshop you'll learn a variety of basic embroidery stitches and an easy transfer method. This workshop includes a mailed kit with all supplies (minus scissors) for a relaxing evening of crafting. Please register here by 4/22 so we can ensure your workshop kit is delivered on time. Whether you're an embroidery newbie or a stitching pro, you're sure to learn new stitches, techniques, and tips!

And here a sneak peek into May. Just in time for Mother's Day, Spacecraft and I will be hosting an online Wildflower Embroidery Basics workshop on May 9th. If you're looking for something fun to do with your mom, while practicing social distancing, why not take an embroidery class together? We'll cover basic embroidery stitches while creating a lovely bunch of wildflowers.
