May Workshops and Events

Updated: Oct 19, 2020

Just because we're staying in for another month here in Washington State, doesn't mean we can't get together (virtually) and craft! It's amazing what a few hours of crafting with fellow passionate makers can do to help you destress and have fun. These virtual workshops have been a highlight of quarantine.

From wildflowers to tropical plants to landscape pins, MCreativeJ has a couple of workshops to help you stay crafty and have fun while staying in. And what's even better--all workshops include a full kit mailed directly to you!

On May 9, Spacecraft and I are celebrating Mother's Day with a Wildflower Embroidery Basics workshop. In this virtual two-hour embroidery basics workshop you'll stitch a variety of wildflowers while learning up to 7 different embroidery stitches. This two-hour online class includes a mailed kit and live instruction. Class kit includes: an embroidery hoop, pattern cotton fabric, 6 skeins of embroidery thread, wildflower design transfers, embroidery needle, backing materials, and an instruction packet. Whether you're an embroidery newbie or a stitching pro, you're sure to learn new stitches, techniques, and tips!

Calling all pacific northwest lovers! Want to learn how to hand embroider a mountain range landscape pin? Join Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ and Monster on May 19th from 6-8pm for an online 2-hour workshop. This hands-on, virtual experience includes all the materials you’ll need to create a beautiful hand embroidered mountain landscape pin.

And later this month, on May 21 Spacecraft and I are also hosting a Tropical Plants embroidery workshop! Why not think and stitch tropical thoughts while staying home? Together we'll create a tropical plants embroidery while learning up to 7 different embroidery stitches and an easy design transfer method. This two-hour online class includes a mailed kit and live instruction. Class kit includes: an embroidery hoop, pattern cotton fabric, 6 skeins of embroidery thread, tropical plant design transfers, embroidery needle, backing materials, and an instruction packet.
