I'm Writing An Embroidery Book!

I'm over-the-moon excited to announce that I'm writing a landscape inspired embroidery book! Even though I've been quiet about this dream, this has been a big goal of mine for a few years now.

After lots of hard work and perseverance (I'll share more in another post on this), the wonderful people at Fox Chapel Publishing have partnered with me. Thanks to some early conversations with their team, I have the concept and a good idea of what will be in the book. I'm still fine tuning things and have many rounds of edits to go through before I can share specific details.

What I can tell you, is that my book will feature landscape inspired hand embroidery designs filled with texture, pattern, and pop up stitching. Many of the landscape ideas will draw on inspiration from my travels.

Keep your eyes peeled for more details and for a book launch in Spring 2023!

Happy stitching (all the landscapes),

Writing a book in Word was a fun process, but when faced with the problem of converting to Excel, it became clear that the formats were incompatible. This caused confusion as the conversion was expected to be simpler. There may have been formatting problems or data incompatibility. This was an important lesson for me in planning and checking format compatibility when working with different programs.
