A Calendar of Stitched Goodness

It's early June and you're probably not thinking of the holidays or advent calendars. But you should be! Bess from Life with Bess and Stitching & Co is once again putting together a hand embroidery inspired advent calendar.

You won't want to miss this!

Last year, I had the opportunity to contribute a winter forage inspired stick and stitch hand embroidery pattern pack to this gorgeous calendar. Here's some of the patterns from my contribution. And if you missed out on last year's advent calendar, you can still find this pack in my online shop.

While I'm not taking part in the advent calendar this year, I know many talented artists like Jaycee from Stay at Home Artist, Sara from Bear and Bean, and Paige from Ponderosa Creative, just to name a few, who are. I can't wait to see what they create for the calendar!

One of the many great things about the advent calendar is that you can choose from 12 or 24 day options. Each day of the calendar you get to open up an embroidery inspired treat designed by fiber artists from all over the world. Last year the calendar included mini kits, stick and stitch patterns, lovely thread packs, curated supplies, and much more.

When my advent calendar arrived in the mail, couldn't wait til December to open it day by day. I had to open it all at once. The anticipation was too much and each day's gift made me want to open another one!

Trust me, you don't want to sleep on this. Last year's calendars sold out so fast. And even better, calendars will ship to you in October, so you don't have to worry about yours getting lost in the mail.

The advent calendars make excellent treats for the embroiderers in your life as well as for yourself! I know I'll be getting myself one.

***Thanks for reviewing my recommendations. This post contains affiliate links. If you purchase an advent calendar, I will receive $10AUD commission/24 day and $5AUD/12 day advent calendar.***
