Sheaf Stitch Step-by-Step Tutorial

1.  To start, stitch three straight stitch next to each other.

2. Then bring the needle up next to the middle of the last straight stitch.

3. Lay the working thread across the straight stitches, and slide the needle underneath them. Pull the thread tightly so that the stitches are cinched in the middle.

4. Finish the stitch by bringing the needle back down through the fabric on the opposite side from where you brought the needle up next to the middle of the stitches. This makes one sheaf stitch.
