Wrapped Beads Stitch
Wrapped beads is a way to cover beads with thread. This adds dimension and the beads can be berries, buds, or other dimensional items in stitching. Use this DIY video and step-by-step tutorial to learn how to create wrapped beads.

Wrapped Beads Stitch Step-by-Step Tutorial
1. This stitch covers beads with thread. Start by widening the hole of the wooden bead. I used a pair of scissors, inserted them into the bead hole, then gently spun the scissors around to widen the bead opening. The wood is soft, and this will shave off just a bit of the inside. Repeat for both sides.

2. Then thread a beading needle with 1 strand of thread. Thread the needle through the bead hole, leaving a few inches of tail.

3. Wrap the thread around the bead and bring the needle back through the bead hole in the same direction.

4. Repeat until the bead is covered with thread. Try not the overlap the thread when covering the bead.
