It should come as no surprise that June's Pattern Club design was inspired by staying home. I'm inspired by my surroundings, which currently happens to be my plant-filled apartment.
The Modern Houseplants pattern showcases some of my favorite house plants (past and present) as well as some of the decor I have at home. Can you guess which pieces I actually own?
As you've probably noticed, this months pattern is actually 2 designs in one! The first design keeps things simple and elegant in a 5 inch hoop. You'll also probably notice the nod to the Miss Make Clava Quilt (clearly I'm obsessed) in this pattern.
The expanded modern houseplants pattern expands on the first design, with more plants, details, and 4 additional stitches. The second design is a Pattern Club member exclusive!
As always, each Pattern Club pattern provides a recommended materials list, fabric recommendations, details how to place fabric in the hoop, how to transfer your design onto the fabric, how to split thread, thread the needle, and knot the thread.
Each pattern also has photo and written instructions on how to create each stitch and a step-by-step walk through of the design. As an added bonus, each pattern also includes how to finish the embroidery in the hoop.
