The Year to Stitch Something New

Updated: Dec 21, 2020

It seems hard to believe that 2021 is just around the corner. There were many times when this year felt like it would never end and that it couldn't get any worse. And through it all there have been wonderful moments of connection and hope as we've adapted.

At the beginning of 2020, I had a goal of teaching more embroidery workshops. Being able to share embroidery with fellow makers brings me joy. And while my idea of in-person workshops didn't really pan out like I had hoped, I was still able to teach 57 workshops! That sounds like a crazy number!

Switching to online workshops has been a true bright spot amidst this year's chaos. There've been many days when I haven't left the house, so connecting through virtual classes has offered a sense of togetherness and craft that I've needed- and something that I think many of us have needed.

I'm happy to share that online workshops will continue! We have more classes planned for the new year. I'll be offering some new workshops as well as some fan favorites. I'd love for you to join me in taking a mindful break in learning to stitch something new.
