Crafty and Cute Needlework Scissors

When I travel I love finding interesting and colorful pairs of scissors to bring back with me to use in my in-person workshops. They're a fun way to remember places I've visited and add a smile to attendees faces. But often times people want to take my scissors home or ask me, "Where can I get scissors like these?" And because I find my scissors here, there, and everywhere, I haven't had a very good answer to this question, until now.

I finally found a source for playful needlework scissors!

For the longest time, one of my favorite decorative pairs of scissors has been a gold eye owl handled pair. They're small, have good sized finger holes, and have a good amount of weight to them. And after purchasing them, I promptly forgot where I found them. Isn't that just the worst?! After much online searching, I finally found a source for these scissors and more.

Needlework Scissors

There's three new pairs of bird needlework scissors available in the MCreativeJ embroidery shop. Apparently I had a thing (and still do) for birds when I placed my scissor order, because you can find, gold owl scissors, silver swan, and silver stork scissors in the shop now. They pair perfectly with our bird embroidery kits and patterns if you're looking to get extra matchy-matchy.

Gold Owl Scissors

These gold scissors feature an owl eye handles and good sized finger holes. They're roughly 3.25 inches in length with a 7/8 inch blade.

Silver Swan Scissors

The swan scissors feature a swan with a delicately curved neck. They're roughly 3 inches in length with a 1 inch blade.

Silver Stork Scissors

The stork scissors are your classic embroidery scissors. They feature the stork bird with textured feather markings. The scissors are roughly 3.5 inches in length with a 1 inch blade.
