The New Stick and Stitch Patterns
You never know where inspiration will strike! These two new embroidery stick and stitch patterns packs were inspired by walks with my dogs. We (me and the dogs) see tons of animals walking around our suburban neighborhood. From birds to bunnies to bugs, it's a plethora of wildlife. Each morning walk brings a delightful new surprise as to what we'll see next.
These outings inspired me to design the forest critters pattern pack. Admittedly, I don't live in the forest, but there are quite a few tall trees and many many bunnies in my neighborhood. After seeing two bunnies playing together, I thought it would be fun to create a pattern pack that featured playful forest animals.
I'm also on a bit of a bird kick lately. I'm not sure why or what inspired this, but birds interest me as of late. After seeing many cute birds on my walks, I started wondering about all the odd and strange birds. You often see cute patterns featuring birds like robins, cardinals, and doves, but what about the pigeons, seagulls, and quail? Much like my unconventional flowers pattern pack that features flowering weeds, I decided these odd birds needed a little love too.

What Are Stick and Stitch Patterns?
Stick, and Stitch embroidery patterns are the perfect way to add a little inspiration to your stitching. From florals to cacti and tropical plants to winter botanicals, and more these water-soluble patterns make it easy to transfer your design and customize your hand embroidery.
And when I say easy, I mean it! The directions are in the name. With your fabric in an embroidery hoop, simply:
PEEL off the design backing
STICK the sticky side onto your fabric
STITCH over the design. When you've finished stitching, rinse the designs away with warm water.
Stick, and Stitch designs can be used on almost anything. Whether you want to add embroidery to a t-shirt, a quilt, a knit sweater, or leave the designs displayed in an embroidery hoop as a wall hanging, they make transferring your design and getting started with hand embroidery easy.
